The Hobie H-Crate is a great addition to any fishing kayak. However, keeping your tackle boxes, tackle and other gear organized and easy to reach can be a challenge. This system is designed to allow you to customize the storage to hold what you want, where you want.
There are two sizes of Hobie H-Crate. The standard H-Crate which is roughly 17" x 14" and the H-Crate Jr which is 14" x 14". It is important to decide which way you want to divide your crate and in which direction.
Important: For whatever reason, Hobie does not use standardized spacing in regards to the position of the holes on the side of the crate. Please check out the video (coming soon) to see how to choose the proper components.
- Slots are sold in pairs and come with 2 screws for each slot for mounting.
- Dividers are sold individually.
- Dividers include a set of single slot mounts of the same color, unless otherwise requested.
Note: Dividers in colors other than black and orange may take additional processing time. Please contact us for custom requests and we will do what we can to accommodate.
System Components:
5 Slot 14" Side- Set of 2 - Five divider slots lining up with holes inside the H-Crate and H-Crate Jr. These are great if you often want to change up how you store your gear and want to move dividers without having to unscrew the slot each time you want to change something.
5 Slot 17" Side- Set of 2 - Five divider slots lining up with holes inside the H-Crate ONLY. These are great if you often want to change up how you store your gear and want to move dividers without having to unscrew the slot each time you want to change something.
Single Slot Mounts - Set of 2 - This is a great option if you have a good idea of where you want your gear and don't anticipate needing to move dividers often but want another location just in case.
14" H-Crate Divider w/ 2 single slot mounts- Just under 6" tall, this divider is sized to go across the H-Crate and H-Crate Jr. These dividers are notched to allow combination with other dividers to create multiple "compartments".
17" H-Crate Divider w/ 2 single slot mounts- Just under 6" tall, this divider is sized to go across H-Crate ONLY. These are not compatible with the H-Crate Jr. These dividers are notched to allow combination with other dividers to create multiple "compartments".

I’ve always wondered if the h crate had a divider system. Yakattack is the more popular crate but I got my h crate dirt cheap on sale so it was a no brainer. I ordered my divider in orange to make it pop out a little more and I’m happy with the designer of it. It included everything you need. I got mine installed in 15 min.

Great design. I especially like the right side being shaded and still allowing access to my controls. It slides on easy but never makes feel like I need to worry about it falling off. (Stored during transport). And he’s got a great logo on top. I would recommend this to anyone regardless of the brand of mapping/fish finder you use.

Brad killed it again with another sunshade for my new Garmin 93SV. His attention to detail is second to none and appreciated. These mounts are awesome! I looked at some of the mounts from other companies before buying, these are better designed and cheaper than the other options I looked at. Installation was super easy, and they angle the Anchor Wizard into the "sweet spot", far enough from the seat to work the crank easy, but still out of the way of my paddle stroke. Great job with this design!
I purchased the 1 1/2" foot risers to use on a short stack. They fit perfectly, and the extra height allowed me to attach two rod holders to the stack at a 30 degree angle. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
A simple upgrade that makes a big difference. These Braget Designs lflex tool holders turn unused space inside the YakAttack BlackPak Pro lid into organized storage for frequently used tools like fish grips, line cutters, and bug spray, and sun block.
Installation was straightforward, the holders are secure, and having my most-used gear visible and easy to reach saves time on the water. It’s a great way to maximize storage space without cluttering the inside of the crate.
If you’re looking to improve organization and efficiency on your kayak, these holders are an easy recommendation.

The trays are easy to put together. The under seat tackle tray holders look great and are super functional! I think it may be my favorite accessory that I have added to my Old Town Sportsman PDL Pro 120!
